This is it folks...We are wrapping up our blogs and preparing for the exams that are tedious and evil.... I mean fun and exciting :D!
For the final blog I have decided to do mine on an article on how to succeed when it comes to networking. It is scientifically proven that 20% of people are naturally born with a shy nature, this has been proven in 2010 by American and Chinese research. In order to succeed in business, you must be assertive and not shy towards other people or you are likely to not succeed. In order to network one must be able to follow these six steps; Do your homework, make an impression, have strategies when it comes to socializing, be natural, put others first and be card smart.
Do your homework:
Always research the task you are assigned in order to have a better understanding for the task you are assigned. There are many sites that can help you, forums and search engines are great sources to help you do research.
Make an expression:
Stand out from the crowd, don't just blend in be the one that wears something flashy such as a bright color or wear something unexpected but remember to follow the dress code. Keep eye contact with the person you are talking to, always smile and most importantly smile.
Socializing Strategies:
Approach the people who are alone as opposed to groups, they are more likely to prefer one on one conversations as opposed to group discussions. Have key points you can discuss with people and bring a cup of coffee or some kind of food for you to share with others.
Be natural:
Talk to the people naturally, do not treat them as clients as people prefer to be more comfortable with someone they know. Build a relationship by talking about general topics like the whether or the news then ask if they would be interested in your business.
Put others ahead of yourself:
By helping others you are giving them a reason to be interested in what you do, they will be more likely to repay you for helping them out than just talking to them about your business. Karma- What comes around goes around.
Be card smart:
Don't just give out cards, exchange information with people the people you think have potential and can help your business. Remember to organize the cards you receive and have a place where you can put the cards in.

Death To Apple!....Or Maybe not...?
http://www.torontosun.com/2013/01/14/apple-cuts-orders-for-iphone-5-parts-on-weak-demand-nikkei
After 5 generations of iPhone's people have grown tired of buying a new Apple phone in order to keep up with the so called "trends". Due to the weak demand of iPhone5's Apple has cut orders for LCD screens and other parts for the iPhone5. The demand has affected Asian businesses such as Sharp Co Ltd that produces the LCD screens for Apple (See how evil apple is! When they fail they drag other companies at the other end of the world down with them). Apple's dominance is decreasing while companies such as Samsung Electronics and other unknown businesses such as Huawei Technologies Co Ltd and ZTE Corp is taking over. For those that did not know, Apple has been getting parts from none other than Samsung, the chips within iPhones come from factories of Samsung in Korea(which we all know is a great country). The article goes on and talks about how Samsung is overthrowing Apple, I do not wish to continue to say how much Apple is unimpressive so that concludes the summary of the article.
Business is seen here, technological advances overthrow old and run down technology that may have existed for quite some time. With the increase of newer and newer technologies it is evident that the supply and demand for old inventions such as Apple decrease. Who knows Apple may step up their game and create a better quality phone or move on to something better (For those who are unfamiliar with Apple's history, they created PC's back in the day... They still do but back then there were no competitors until Microsoft took over.) Microsoft took them down but they rose up and created iPod's that revolutionized the way we hear things and made Apple become one of the most powerful company in the world. They may do something like this again as we discussed, there are reccessions that occur after they reach their peak, they also tend to rise back up. Do you think apple can overcome its challenges and rise back up or should they try and make something new and give up phones?
